This group of friends re-created Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater IRL

We all remember grinding away and getting some sweet air in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater. But this group of friends absolutely earned all of the stokens with their IRL re-creation of the classic video game: Dylan Bowser’s Decent Skater.

Complete with the choose a skater scene and its cheesy character reactions all the way to the collection of the S-K-A-T-E letters and hidden tape, these guys nailed the Tony Hawk experience. Perhaps the most important part of getting the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater feeling in real life is their addition of the move names (and corresponding point values) as well as the semi-punk late ’90s hit Superman by Goldfinger. Filmed and edited by Dylan Bowser, this video truly nails the feel of the classic video game. The skaters, Charlie Menefee and Matt Deitch, do a great job, as well.
